Just a Friendly Reminder...

As Americans we are one of the most priveleged nations in the world because we have a say in who the leaders of our towns, states, and country will be. If you feel strongly for one candidate or another (or... alternatively against one candidate or another) and you're able to: make sure you get out there and vote.

Why? More importantly: Why not.

Also - make sure you become up to speed on the other candidates you'll have to vote for in this election as well as any propositions that are on the ballot this year. While the choice for the President of the United States is certainly an important choice to make, every choice you make on that ballot is important and effects our country.

Hi. Nonvoter here. ;-)

I watched part of it for the Will Smith -- and got some bonus Scarlett Johansson. Woo! ;-)

"Vote because for the second time in history, a woman is running for vice president."

...and holy cow! Don't let that happen! (You KNOW that's what he was thinking.)

But seriously. "One little vote" does not matter in this state. Or the one I'm moving to. Or in some towns in Maine, where the results are final before some towns submit their votes.

But I can see how the other voting-thingies matter, like for senators and stuff maybe, if you really care what happens.
