Random Wednesday

- I totally saw two high school kids smoking pot this morning.

- Orange slices are grossly underrated. I just ate 4 of them and my tummy stopped grumbling. That's only about a half of an orange.

- I love the weather we're having.

- I can't believe that I never read "Treasure Island" before. I'm reading it now along with "The Five Love Languages" (which I'm reading with Steve). But - yeah, having never read "Treasure Island" I kind of just assumed some things. Like, maybe Long John Silver was just a fabled sailor. Like the Hispaniola was maybe a real ship. I'm finally at the part where they start to gather their crew, and that means it's going to start getting exciting soon.

- My good friend Kiki gave me this link to Fly Lady, which is a website dedicated to lessening the clutter in your life. I haven't had a chance to explore it fully yet, but what I have seen looks super interesting.

- If you're feeling altruistic, please head over to my friend Mags' blog and donate to her cause. She's walking in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk in honor of her good friend who was recently diagnosed.

- I completely forgot to drink my coffee today, and it's totally not in a microwave safe mug. And do you think I remembered to bring my big mug that I use for tea back into work today - no, of course not. Cold coffee it is. At least it's a tasty flavor - Caramel Vanilla Creme.

Treasure Island... I kinda remember reading that one. I'll have to add that to my list of book to read when I'm a teacher.

I was on a bus on a class trip to a prison (criminal justice class)...the girl next to me was rolling a joint. I kid you not.
