Babbling

- I hate getting sick. I don't mind BEING sick because I can just lay on the couch or something. But I hate getting sick. It inhibits you from doing somethings because you feel miserable, but doesn't inhibit you enough to stay home from work. Oh well. I'll get over it. :)

- I'm getting to be a better cook. Every so often I come out with something that even impresses myself. I did something magical to boneless pork spare ribs last night that I hope I'm able to duplicate because it was pretty good. There's still nothing like the simplicity of my Nana's mac & cheese though...

- I'm listening to a version of "The Freshmen" covered by Bronson Arroyo. Weird.

- Traffic was terrible this morning. What's up with that???

- I'm starting to come up with my goals for 2008 list, since 2007 is about to enter into Q407. I've got one so far. Yes... one. No, I'm not telling you what it is. You can wait until January. There's one person who knows what it is, but that's because she offered to help. :)

- I wish that laundry did itself sometimes.

- Looking at baby clothes has not made me want to have one faster.

- I really want to finish the 2 books I'm reading. I've decided that I need to read more, and it shouldn't take me more than a month to finish a book. 2 books at the same time I'll give myself 2 months. I'd prefer to read 2 books a month, I think. I can work on that.

- I need to start studying for my GMAT, but I've somewhere along the line lost the motivation. I need that back.

- Tonight all I really want to do is curl up on the couch in comfy pants, crochet, and watch an episode or two of "My Boys" on On Demand.

- I'd like to read the Bible more.

- I miss walking and it's only been a couple of days. I hate getting sick.

- So far I've made one scarf for the homeless. It's yellow and green with a little bit of white. Now I'm working on a pink and green one. I have all sorts of yarn to make scarves with at my disposal. You have no idea.

- I need to work on our scrapbook. It's been neglected. Maybe this weekend, depending on time.

- Why does there never seem to be enough of that?

- I'm looking forward to some Yellie/Tin time tomorrow, it's been a while. I can't wait to hear about how her student teaching went today!

- I want a brownie but they're at home. I'll have to settle for a cucumber or some grapes. Maybe a granola bar. Either way I have this cup of throat coat tea.
