Unable to Concentrate

I can't concentrate today because I'm consumed with thinking about a few things:

1. All the work I have to do here at work.
2. My Tackle-It Tuesday project (which I'm basically doing tonight)
3. My weekend!!!

Due to a revealing email that Steve forgot mentioned it in the content, I found out last night that my birthday present this year is a long weekend in Tennessee to spend some much-missed quality time with my family. Steve went completely out of his way to contact all the people I made plans with this weekend AND contact my boss to get Friday off. My whole family has played along superbly and I totally thought that this weekend was going to be completely at home. I even bought pizza rolls and Tostitos for the game on Sunday, was totally psyched up for apple picking, and was thinking about the lasagne that Steve was going to make for me.

But... instead, I'm going to TN to spend some quality time with my family, and I'm super excited. My parents have a hot tub so I'm looking forward to some relaxing in there. I'm psyched to see my siblings for the weekend and meet some of the friends my parents have made down there. My mom said this morning that they're going to take us out to breakfast on Saturday... oh, and if I have time my brother has asked me to make him banana bread. He's a nerd.

I'm SOOOOOO excited. I feel bad that the surprise cover was blown 3 days early, but it's still a great birthday gift! Thanks, Honey!!!!

Have fun in the hot tub, seeing the fam, and yes, it's super important that you make your brother banana bread *shakes head* - shouldn't he be making you banana bread for YOUR birthday?! :)*Carrie*

Incidentally, it is my opinion that you should have an "All of the above" answer for your poll...cause just picking one?

Impossible...
