Tuesday Meme: The Mall

This week I selected "Tina's Tuesdays":

What is your favourite clothing store? Why?
I'm a Lane Bryant fan, even though there's no way I could afford to buy clothes from ONLY LB. Their clothes are trendy without going over the top (I'm more of a conservative girl), and they're clothes that actually fit me!! I'm a short chubby girl, so it's important that I can find pants that fit or capris that don't fit me like pants. Plus they have great sales and incentives for continuing customers.

What is your least favourite store in general? Why?
I can't stand Abercrombie & Fitch. Their store gives me a headache between the heavy smell of cologne and the loud club music. Plus, from what I understand the quality of their clothing isn't that great for the price (I'm too chubby to fit in their clothes, so I don't know personally). For those reasons, I'm also not looking forward to the installation of Hollister at the Mall Rockingham Park.

What was the last store you shopped at? What did you buy?
The last store I shopped at was Lane Bryant, oddly enough. I bought 2 pairs of pants there on Saturday (a pair of jeans and a pair of white capris because they had a buy-one-get-one-free on all bottoms).

Side note: We have a possible photographer. I think she's good based on what I saw on her website. Need concurrence from Steve before proceeding. Probable phone consultation on Friday.

You used the word "Chubby" a lot in this post. And incidentally, that word makes me giggle.

Yay for the photographer.

PS. What color are your bridesmaids dresses going to be?

Bridesmaids dresses are what Alfred Angelo calls "Lavender". Basically - light purple. They're "tea length", halter top, very simple dresses. If you're bored, they're on the Alfred Angelo website, style number 6226. :)

They are very pretty!

Hi! I'm a random reader. And I simply love H&M. Excellent quality and style for the price you pay.

And I am not as athletic as the guy seen on Hollister's main web page, yet I love shopping there. But maybe it's just me...

Hey K&V - thanks for stopping in. :)

I guess I should rephrase Hollister. The only one I've been in the music was so loud that I couldn't go back. I don't know much about their quality, so I retract that part of the statement. :)
